On Monday, February 8, 2010, the Charleston Fire Department was dispatched around 1:45 p.m., to a resdential structure fire on Forest Glen Drive, off of Hwy. 61, in West Ashley.  Crews arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire conditions coming from the attic of the single family residence.  Crews initially attempted to make an interior attack but were forced to back out and then moved to defensive operations, at which point, they had the fire under control within about 30 minutes.  No injuries were reported by either the residents or firefighters.  Saint Andrews Fire Department responded to the fire via Mutual Aid and assisted in the operations.Village Green Fire (2/8/2010)
